About V.W.C.C.
The Victorian Women's Christian Convention work began in Victoria as an outreach from the Christian Service Centre, which was located in Box Hill, Melbourne, and has developed from there as a separate ministry. Our activities extend throughout metropolitan and country areas.
All age groups are catered for through regular Bible Study Groups, day conventions, coffee mornings, coffee and dessert evenings, seminars, and Bible study weekends.
Christian in character, Biblical in emphasis, our work is definitely Christ-centred, inter-church and church supporting.
Every outreach is under the direction of women from various protestant church denominations, and has the aim of increasing the effectiveness of women within their homes, their families, and their churches.
We have a Statement of Faith which is clearly sets out our beliefs.
We trust God to supply all our needs, without any public or private solicitation for funds. Prayer is our vital link with God and His resources.
We seek to encourage vital interest in missionary activity by introducing missionaries and their work on a regular basis. All voluntary gifts received by V.W.C.C. are tithed for missionary support.
