Statement Of Faith

We Believe:

  • That the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as given in the original languages are the divinely and verbally inspired Word of God, and are the supreme and final authority in faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16,17).
  • In the Holy Trinity consisting of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, co-equal and co-eternal (Matthew 28:19).
  • In the essential and eternal Deity, and the real but sinless and perfect humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ, and in His incarnation by the miraculous activity of the Holy Spirit and His subsequent virgin birth (John 1:1, 14; Matthew 1:20,21).
  • That there is one God who alone is to be worshipped (Revelation 19:10)
  • .
  • There is only one Mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus, and that through Him alone we come to God in prayer (1 Timothy 2:5).
  • In Christ's substitutionary, atoning and propitiatory death, (Romans 5:8; 1 Corinthians 15:3; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 John 2:2), His bodily resurrection, His ascension and exaltation to the right hand of God (Ephesians 1:19-23), His eternal High-priestly ministry of intercession (Hebrews 7:25), His personal return for His Bride, the Church (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17), and His coming to earth in power and great glory as Judge and rightful Ruler of the world, King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Revelation 17:14; Revelation 19:16).
  • In the resurrection of the dead and the final judgment of all men by our Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 24:15; 2 Timothy 4:1; John 5:22, 27; and Revelation 20:12).
  • That man is totally depraved as a result of the Fall (Romans 5:12; Romans 3:23), and that the only way of salvation is through the new birth, by the operation of the Holy Spirit bringing man to repentance toward God and faith in the atoning sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ (John 3:3, 5, 7, 16; Luke 24:47; Acts 20:21).
  • That the indwelling of the Holy Spirit takes place at the time of the new birth (John 14:17; Romans 8:9).
  • In the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit as He leads the believer into identification with Christ in death, burial and resurrection, thus enabling him to live a life of victory (1 Peter 1:2; Romans 6:1-14).
  • In the eternal security of the believer, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the wicked (John 10:28; John 3:36; Romans 6:23).
  • In the spiritual unity in Christ of all redeemed by His precious blood who constitute the mystical body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:12, 13).
  • In the reality and personality of the devil, and the fact that Christ conquered him in His death on the Cross (Matthew 4:1; Luke 8:12; Hebrews 2:14; 1 John 3:8).
  • We Trust God To Supply All Our Needs without any public or private solicitation for funds (Hebrews 11:16; Philippians 4:19).
